Strong Global Interest in Unique Products
The Arab Health conference is the second largest medical device show in the world, and focuses on healthcare companies, technology and products. With over 4,000 exhibitors and 80,000+ visitors, it is an ideal opportunity for Airon to showcase their critical care ventilators and CPAP systems to hospital and EMS professionals from Morocco, Egypt, Iraq, Africa, Saudi Arabia, India, Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and as far away as South Korea. Visitors demonstrated a strong interest in adding Airon’s products to their growth because these products offer unique features and price points.
Fully Pneumatic for Improved Ventilator Support
Airon’s products are fully pneumatic and do not use electricity. This is a key feature for healthcare facilities in countries where electricity is often unreliable. With Airon’s ventilators, clinicians can now bring the healthcare system deeper into their communities and provide improved support for urban and rural applications. In fact, one customer from Algeria was particularly interested in Airon’s products as a way to provide the Algerian military with reliable, high quality transport ventilation throughout the country.
Neonatal and MRI Applications Create New Options for Better Care
One standout at the show was Airon’s pNeuton mini infant ventilator that offers the unique ability to care for even the most fragile patients from 400 grams – 25 kilograms, and pediatric patients. What’s more, the pNeuton mini is MRI compatible and can be placed right next to the MRI magnet with a remote alarm for enhanced patient safety. Several visitors who specialize in neonatal products, including a company from Jordan, said the MRI compatibility opened up a whole new world of possibility to care for the sickest neonates.
Other products of utmost interest include Airon’s pNeuton MACS CPAP System, pNeuton Model A for adult/pediatric ventilation and the pNeuton Mini infant transport ventilator. “A customer in Kuwait who purchased our Mini ventilators stated that they are used to ventilators that only provide an I:E ratio of 1:2, so we created a chart to help them transition to a more flexible clinical operation of the Mini.” said Eric Gjerde, Airon founder. He added, “It’s always exciting meeting our existing customers and hearing their success stories, and working with new global customers to help them expand their patient care options.”
